How do you know if your phone is really waterproof? !!
Water resistance is one of the competitive advantages
that global phone companies have resorted to
During the recent period, to increase its market
share, and strengthen it in front of its competitors in global markets,
All modern smartphones such as iPhone and Samsung
leave the manufacturer with an IP mark attached to them, but many users of
these phones do not know the meaning of this mark, as it means - the global
protection mark - for the phone's ability to resist water and dust.
Attached to this mark are two numbers that indicate
the extent of the water resistance of the phone. We provide you with a full
explanation and clarification of these signs below.
How to read the IPXX code
The IP code consists of two numbers. The first number
indicates a certain level of the device's resistance to dust (or interference
by any solid object in the device) and the second number indicates a level of
protection against liquids, and the higher the number, the better the level of
protection.
With regard to protection from liquids, it is not only evaluated on its resistance to water spontaneously, but rather the amount of the phone's ability to withstand water pressure.
The first number - the degree of
resistance of the device to dust (or the interference of any solid object in
the device)
